What is collected
BuildVetted collects the contact and project details you submit, Launch Control Test answers and results, newsletter preferences, purchase and refund references, written authorization, access-readiness status, support messages, and the limited evidence needed to perform an accepted review. The payment provider processes card and payment details; BuildVetted does not receive full card numbers.
Why it is used
Data is used to qualify requests, provide checkout, confirm payment, deliver and support the review, prevent abuse, keep accounting records, improve the review method, and send requested newsletter or service messages. Marketing messages can be unsubscribed from at any time. Service messages about a paid review are still sent when needed to fulfill it.
Review access and evidence
Use dedicated test accounts and minimum read-only collaborator access wherever possible. Do not send master passwords, real card data, customer personal data, copied production datasets, API keys, or tokens through public forms or ordinary email. Evidence included in reports and recordings is minimized and redacted. Access is used only within the written authorization and should be revoked after delivery.
Providers and disclosure
BuildVetted uses service providers for hosting and database storage, payment processing, email delivery, and privacy-conscious site analytics. They receive only the data needed for their role. Data is not sold. It may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service or others, or during a business transfer subject to appropriate confidentiality.
Retention
Unpurchased qualification requests are normally removed after 90 days. Temporary review notes and raw evidence are normally removed within 30 days after completion or refund. Final reports, authorization records, essential correspondence, and purchase records may be retained longer for support, contractual, tax, accounting, dispute, and legal obligations. A longer period is used only when agreed or reasonably required.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, or withdraw optional marketing consent. Some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons. Testimonials, identifying case studies, and customer screenshots are never published merely because you purchased; they require separate permission.
